TOPIC: Screws versus nails for the support structure

Screws versus nails for the support structure 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I'm starting a deck around my 24' pool tomorrow and it occurred to me that the support structure would be quicker to construct with an air nailer and 3" galvanized nails. Any reason your plans only use screws?

The reason that the plans call for screws is because most people don't have a nail gun and screws are faster than using a hammer. It is possible to use nails on the support frames just make sure to use nails for treated lumber.
