I have just recently built a deck around my above ground pool with composite decking. I designed my plan but am having some trouble finding brackets to fit this composite. For instance, the post are not your regular 4X4 they are 4-1/4 X 4-1/4. So even the cap lights are sometimes hard to find. My question is: Where do you find the brackets for these posts when you are building your bench? I have seen some brackets that kindof look "L" shaped and attach to the deck and 2X for the back of the bench. The sort of angled backrest. Can you point me in a direction?

Sorry but I haven't heard of the posts that size. That is very odd. Most 4x4 posts are on the small side. They are usually around 3.5 x 3.5 . i have not heard of any brackets for larger sized posts. But just because I have not heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You might want to try www.decksdirect.com . They should be able to help you find a product that can work for you.
