Couldn't the span between the floating foundation blocks be wider if I used 2x8s instead of 2x6s? And even more if I choose to go with 2x10s?

This system is the easiest I have seen EVER but I want to build a 10x12 shed at just above ground level and was hoping to get away with only the blocks around the perimeter.

Maybe it won't work but I don't see why not??

Thanks!!!
