The picture you use to showcase your shed floor shows the floor proud of the shed by about a foot on all sides.
Is there a reason for that?

The shed is smaller than the shed floor. Thats the simple answer. Basically you want to keep the shed within the shed floor. You can put the shed up to the edges but you should not overhang the shed any amount.
